2.3.10: Update to the Pro Privateer Program:
Semi Pro drivers moving up to Pro Stock for two races through the podium points program will not be eligible for Privateer Money. The podium points program is designed to give a rider who will probably be asked to move up at seasons end to sample the pace of the higher class. The exception would be if the driver chose to stay in Pro, which he can do if done before the 5th race, and the driver met the qualifications of a privateer.
1.12.10: Rulebook Page 28, National Events - Replace with the following: The Pros and Semi Pros will run a two round format with an LCQ for more than 15 entries. The top 10 qualifiers, after two rounds, will advance to the final. The next ten qualifiers will run the LCQ (if more than 15 entries), with the top 5 advancing to the final. Classes that have fewer than 16 entries, no LCQ will be run and the top 15 qualifiers will advance to the final. All finals will have 15 riders (10 in the front row, 5 in the back row). Points will be assigned in the rounds and finals, but not in the LCQ.
12.29.09: Pro Privateer Updates.
12.17.09: Rulebook Page 28, National Events, #2 - Replace #2 with the following: Pro Class Rules: The pros will run a two round format with an LCQ for more than 20 entries. The top 10 qualifiers after two rounds will advance to the final. The next ten qualifiers will run the LCQ (if more than 20 entries), with the top 5 advancing to the final. Classes that have fewer than 20 entries, no LCQ will be run and the top 15 qualifiers will advance to the final. All finals will have 15 riders (10 in the front row, 5 in the back row). Points will be assigned in the rounds and finals, but not in the LCQ.
12.16.09: Transition Class - Due to the lack of replacement parts for the driven clutch and belt for 06 and older model Ski Doo Freestyle units, ISOC will allow the replacement and update to the 07 Freestyle model driven clutch only. No other drive or driven clutch may be used. Any drive belt may be used.
12.01.09: Any Top 15 National Semi Pro from the previous year's point standings HAS to run Regional Pro class at MN Regional Events.
Any National Pro running a MN Regional Event will pay the usual entry fee and will run a separate class (National Pro). This will be treated like a glorified "practice." We will pay back a portion of the entry fees. National Pros will not be eligible for points or contingency. They will show on the website with points, but there will be no trophies and no year-end championship or trophies for the National Pro Class at the MN Regionals.
11.30.09: Updated Helmet Rating: Helmets that carry a minimum rating of ECE 22.05 or SNELL 2005 will be allowed in snocross competition for all classes. They must follow the "orange" color rule as per outlined in the ISOC rulebook.
11.12.09: SEMI PRO CLASSES AT THE NATIONALS: If you run Semi Pro, you have two options at the National events. You can either run the Semi Pro Open and Semi Pro Stock #2 OR you can run both Semi Pro Stock Classes, #1 & #2. This was posted in early September with the rulebook, but seems to have caused some confusion.
11.06.09: Stud Rule Update: Click here.
10.29.09: This is a reminder that ISOC has an agreement with Title Sponsor AMSOIL as to the size and number of ACSS stickers on each sled. So if you are incorporating the ACSS logo into your graphics package, the logo must stay the same size which is 6" wide by 2" high. One logo on each side panel and one on the front near the windshield. Of course you can use the stickers supplied in your membership kit. For the logo, click here. Revised 12.06.09 - The size has changed to 1.5 by 4 inches, two total, one on each side of the hood as close to the windshield as possible.
