Minneapolis, MN (11/23/09) - The ISOC Minnesota Regional Circuit will have its first race this weekend at Quadna Mountain Park in Hill City, MN. Recent cold temperatures have enabled the ski hill to create enough snow for good racing conditions.
Warm weather across the country has made snow making difficult and postponed many races, which will likely create the event at Quadna a popular one for racers.
“It is great that Quadna has as much snow as it does with all the warm weather conditions across the country,” said ISOC Director of Operations Scott Lorentz. “We are looking forward to finally starting the season off and we should have a very good racer turn out.”
The race will be a two-day event running all day December 5th & 6th. Racers can enter the race online at ISOCRacing.com up to midnight on Wednesday prior to the event. Registrations after Wednesday include additional late fees. Spectator tickets start as low as $5.
ISOC’s AMSOIL Championship Snocross Series will kick-off the following weekend with the AMSOIL Duluth National at Spirit Mountain in Duluth, MN. The traditional Thanksgiving weekend event was postponed until December 11th – 13th.
